Coffee pods are ideal for coffee lovers who want simplicity and variety in their mornings. The pods allows home brewers to brew individual cups of coffee without the mess of loose coffee beans. Drink pods come in dozens of flavors and varieties of teas, coffee, lattes, cappuccinos and hot chocolate. Several popular kitchen appliance brands, including Tassimo, Bunn and Cuisinart, offer single-serve coffee pots that are designed to work with coffee pods.
Tassimo Home Brewing System by Bosch
- The Tassimo Home Brewing System by Bosch brews single cups of coffee using T Disc pods filled with various coffees, including the Starbucks brand. The coffeemaker has a quick-acting and quiet water heater with a water filtration device and a bar code reader that scans the T Disc and automatically selects the water level, temperature and brewing times for each flavor. The appliance is available in black, and features a small size and sleek design. The T Disc pods contain over 40 different beverages and flavors, including different coffees, teas, lattes and hot chocolate.
Bunn My Cafe
- The Bunn My Cafe coffeemaker works with many varieties of pod coffees to brew single cups of coffee. The appliance has a stainless steel water reservoir with a built-in thermostat that keeps the water at a constant temperature. It also includes two separate pod holding trays to avoid the transference of flavors. The body of the appliance comes in black and the removable pieces are dishwasher-safe. In addition to coffee, the Bunn My Cafe can also brew tea.
The Cuisinart Single Serve Brewing System
- The Cuisinart Single Serve Brewing System works with K-Cups coffee pods. This coffeemaker has five different cup sizes, an extra large water reservoir that holds up to 80 oz. of water, a built-in charcoal water filtration system and an automatic cleaning system that removes residue from the water reservoir. The Single Serve Brewing System also features fully programmable controls and a hot water button so that users can pour instant hot water for soups and beverages. The K-Cups coffee pods come in over 200 varieties of coffee and tea, according to the Cuisinart website.
