  • Jorasanko Thakurbari: Jorasanko Thakurbari or the House of Thakurs is known to be the ancestral residence of the reputed and famous Tagore family. As per history, this mansion was built during the 18th century by the grandfather of Rabindra nath Tagore, Prince Dwarkanath Tagore. The place is a proud museum which depicts the life of Tagore's.
  • Indian Museum: This museum is said to the largest as well as oldest museums in India established in the year 1814. There are six sections further split into 35 galleries holding antiques, paintings and artifacts.
