It must fit under the seat in front of you or in an overhead compartment. Your personal item must measure no more than 9 in. high, 16 in. wide and 19 in. long, including wheels, handles and any other protruding items. It must fit under the seat in front of you.

    • The Transportation Security Administration forbids certain items in your carry-on luggage. These include many potentially dangerous or harmful items. Specific items you may not carry on the plane include box cutters, knives, razors, baseball bats, golf clubs, firearms and ammunition, crowbars, nunchakus, explosive materials, certain chemicals and many flammable items. You may bring non-flammable liquid on the plane if the container is 3.4 oz. or smaller.
