You would be surprised to know of how many dangerous and toxic chemicals we have in our home.
Products that we use every day for cleaning or sanitizing may be making you and your family sick.
There are so many different chemicals around us that it is hard for our body's immune system to handle them.
This is one of the reasons we are plagued by so many illnesses today.
We come in contact with chemicals all the time and it starts in our home with household chemicals we use daily.

This is because if inhaled, even for a short period of time, these chemicals can really do a number on your lungs and respiratory system.
Be careful of oven cleaners, disinfectants or air fresheners.
Even antibacterial products are not good for you.
These products actually help make some germs resistant to antibiotics.
You and your home need to be clean, not free of germs.
Your immune system may actually be stronger when exposed to household germs and your overall health improved.
Stay away from products that contain triclosan.
There are so many products to be careful of as they all contain chemicals that may be harmful to us.
Here are a few:
  • Insecticides and herbicides kill pest but they also contain ingredients that are harmful to humans.
  • Avoid chemical fertilizers, it can kill fish and damage our water supply.
    Use organic fertilizers instead.
  • Air fresheners contain chemicals that may cause reproductive problems or birth defects.
    A simple solution is to leave a few windows open and use some essential oils.
    Invest in an essential oil burner if you must.
There are many safe alternatives that we can use for cleaning our homes instead of toxic substances.
Using these products can drastically improve the environment inside your home and they are just as effective at cleaning as their toxic counterparts.
Using natural ingredients such as baking soda, white vinegar or citric acid ensures that you are providing a less toxic environment for you, your children and your pets.
You will have peace of mind knowing that you have not exposed them to a greater risk.
