The 2001 Forest River Shamrock camper is a lightweight model. The camper is a travel trailer that can be towed by a moderately sized truck or SUV. The camper has several quality features and a spacious floor plan. It can sleep multiple people, making it ideal for family camping. Many couples would also find the camper to be a comfortable summer retreat.
- The camper has aluminum siding covering a wood frame. It weighs 3,200 pounds without gear or water. The camper is wired for external electricity and has an auxiliary battery system on the interior. It has two windows on each side and a ventilation system on the top. The trailer also has an outdoor awning, a slide-out and a pop-out bed, similar to a tent trailer.
- The interior of the camper has a dinette that converts into a bed and a sofa that converts into a bed. The trailer is self-contained, with a shower, toilet and kitchen. The kitchen has a sink, microwave, oven, refrigerator and stove. The kitchen also has several overhead cabinets, drawers and storage beneath the sink. There is also storage beneath the sofa and the dinette.
- The floor plan in the Shamrock camper has the bed extending out from the nose of the trailer and the dinette over the nose. The sofa runs down one side wall along with closet space and the bathroom. The kitchen and storage space run along the opposing wall, leaving a wide aisle in the middle of the camper. The back of the trailer has additional storage and space for a stereo and entertainment center.
