    • 1). Dab citrus-based goo remover directly onto the glue. Many goo removers contain oil compounds, which remove adhesive residues.

    • 2). Spread the goo remover out into a thin layer over the entire glue residue, using a paper towel. Allow the goo remover to absorb into the glue for 10 minutes.

    • 3). Wipe away the goo remover and the glue residue with a rag. Inspect the surface for remaining glue. If residue still remains, apply more goo remover to the object.

    • 4). Apply a dab of liquid dish soap to a clean cloth. Dampen the cloth with water, to create suds.

    • 5). Wipe the object with the damp cloth to remove any remaining goo remover. Dry off the object with paper towels.
