Frank opens the toolbox. "Because when the boys that I brought over here come stomping out of this jungle, you're going to want to be long gone."

"Where'd they go?" Jack asks.

"They're up by some greenhouse, perched up there waiting to snatch Linus."

"As soon as we cut you free," Jack says, "you'll be able to fly us out of here?"

"Hell, yeah," Frank says.

"Hang on, Shaggy" Sawyer says. "You said the hit squad is going to grab Ben Linus?"

"Well I don't see what's going to stop them."

"What are they going to do with the people that are with them?"

"Nothing good."

Sawyer looks at Jack. "Hugo's with them."

"Son-of-a-bitch," Jack says.

Jack's Sister

A picture of Christian Shephard stands at the front of a church. Jack gives a eulogy.
"About ten months ago I wrote down what I wanted to say at my father's funeral on the back of a cocktail napkin at the Sydney airport."

Kate, Aaron, Hurley, Sayid, and Nadia are in the front row.

"I don't remember what I wrote, but whatever it was, he would have hated it. My father couldn't stand eulogies. The only thing good about it is the free booze, he would say. Not much of a wake, because I won't even be able to bury him. So, what I want to say is not for my father, it's for me. Goodbye, Dad. I loved you. I miss you."

After the service, Jack and his mother shake hands with people. After everyone has gone through, Margo Shephard says, "See you back at the house?"

"Yeah," Jack says and hugs her.

"I love you, sweetheart," she says.

"I love you, Mom."

"I'm so glad you're home," she says.

"I'll see you soon."

Kate walks over and says, "You did that well."

"I had a lot of practice."

A woman walks over and asks if she could have a word with Jack. Kate steps off to the side of the church while Jack talks to the woman.

"Mr. Shephard, I'm, um, very sorry for your loss."

"Thank you. How did you know my father?"

"I believe I'm the reason he was in Australia when he died."

"I'm sorry, I don't understand. Why would he have come to see you?"

"He didn't come to see me. I was still in the hospital. I never saw him. He came to see his daughter. My daughter, Mr. Shephard."

"My father didn't have a daughter."

"Yes, he did. If you don't believe me, check his phone records. Would you like to know the strangest thing about all this, Mr. Shephard? My daughter was on your plane too. She was on Flight 815. You were in the air for six hours, probably just a few rows from her. And you never even knew she was your sister. She was one of the ones who died when your plane hit the water. Her name was Claire."

Jack is visibly shaken.

"I didn't mean to burden you with this, but you needed to know. I'm sorry, for your loss." She walks over to Kate and Aaron and says, "Your son is beautiful."

"Thank you," Kate says.

"I don't understand. How'd you get back to New York?" Sun asks Michael.
"Oh, Walt and I, uh, we took Ben's boat and we followed his bearing. In a couple of days we came to an island, you know, with people. I sold the boat, we hopped a cargo ferry back to the states. We didn't tell anybody who we were."

"And now you're working for Ben."

"I do not work for Ben! I'm trying to make up for what I did. I'm trying to help you out here."

Desmond opens a door and screams, "Hey, Michael, I need you, now!"

Michael runs over. Sun and Jin follow. The room is full of C4 explosives. Jin tells Sun to go outside.

Kate runs through the jungle with Sayid following. She stops and looks at tracks.
"What's the matter?" Sayid asks.

She squats to look at the tracks. "These aren't Jack or Sawyer. They're different tracks and they're doubling back behind us."

They pull their guns and Sayid yells, "Whoever you are, come out now!"

Richard walks out, "Hi. Now just relax."

Kate tells him to stop.

"Put the guns down," Richard says.

"I said stop right there!" Kate says.

He keeps walking toward them. "Please just drop the guns."

Sayid says, "Take one more step-" and suddenly there are people all around them with guns pointed at them.

"I said drop your guns," Richard says and takes Kate's gun. Sayid hands him his gun.

Locke to the Rescue

Locke looks through the binoculars and says, "I see two of them, but not the one who killed Alex."
"He's there," Ben says. He pulls the rod out that he had before (Ep: 4x9, The Shape of Things to Come) and gives it to Locke. "Hold on to that for me, will you?"

"Listen to me very carefully, John, because I'm not going to have time to repeat this. You're going to go into that greenhouse through that hole there. Once inside, you're going to turn left. Go about twenty paces until you see a patch of anthuriums on your left. They're in an alcove against the north wall. Face that wall, reach down with your left hand. You'll find a switch that activates the elevator. The elevator takes you down to the actual Orchid station."

"Whoa, wait, what?" Hurley says.

"Okay," Locke says, "I'm sorry, Ben, but maybe I missed the part where you explain what I'm supposed to do about the armed men inside."

"I'm going to take care of them."

"And how the hell are you going to do that?"

"How many times do I have to tell you, John? I always have a plan."

Ben walks toward the station.

On the freighter, Sun walks outside. She looks at Aaron in her arms, then back to the room Jin is in. Sawyer and Jack leave the helicopter. Kate and Sayid follow Richard and a bunch of people follow them. Locke and Hurley watch Ben walk forward.

Keamy comes over. Ben says, "My name is Benjamin Linus. I believe you're looking for me."

Keamy looks at Omar, then points a gun at Ben's head. He hits Ben with the gun.
