Remember learning 'A' is for...
Apple, now most of us would have a mental image of an apple in our mind, which means we used our Photographic Memory.
Unfortunately most of us have been brought up to think that this type of memory training is available only for those who are already brilliant scholars, like doctors, astronauts, and scientists etc.
Well the truth is most of us are able to obtain a Photographic Memory just by doing some simple daily exercises for the brain.
I think we all accept that by exercising the body on a daily basis we will see results, either heightened fitness levels, weight loss and tone etc.
So by actually using our muscles and exercising them on a regular basis we will see results.
Well let's face it, the brain is just a muscle also, so it needs to work out in order to stay sharp, just like our other muscles do.
Isn't it funny how you can remember things that happened 10,20,30 years ago or more but you can't remember where you left the car keys? This is because when you put the car keys down it was a 'none event' so to speak.
So to improve our memory and start to develop a Photographic Memory, we need to kind of make an event of it.
Or create an image in our mind, just like we did when we learned the alphabet for the first time.
It's so so easy and it can also been a ton of fun, and you can start with just 10 minutes a day.
I always wanted to improve my memory and retention of information because I was sick of having short term memory loss.
I used to walk into the supermarket and for the life of me not being able to remember what I came in for.
Now I have learnt to build a list in my head of 25 or 30 things and can remember each and every one of them without battering an eyelid.
If you have ever wanted to learn another language, learn to speed read or learn how to study for an examine, remember complex mathematical solutions, or you just want to start using your brain to its full extent, then what better way than start with using more brain power.
