- 1). Find various sizes of stability ball size to try. Sporting goods stores and gym are excellent places to test out different sizes of stability balls.
- 2). Sit on the stability ball with your back straight and feet flat on the floor. In this position, if you are sitting on the correct stability ball for your height, your knees will be at a 90-degree angle.
- 3). Measure the stability ball to determine its height. Use centimeters, as this is the standard measurement used for stability balls. Some stability balls will have their size printed on them, located near the hole used to inflate them.
- 4). Choose a stability ball based on your height if there are no inflated balls available to sit on and try out. Use this chart to determine an appropriately sized stability ball.
