Background:Argentina are desperate to end a trophy drought that extends back to the Copa America in 1993.
Coach Sergio Batista has chosen no fewer than seven forwards in his squad, and they each bring different qualities to the table.
Inter Milan pair Javier Zanetti and Esteban Cambiasso are back in the squad after being controversially omitted from last summer’s World Cup by Diego Maradona.
The defense is again likely to be the weak point, but Argentina should pile on the goals in the group stages.
