American Robin

American robins (Turdus migratorius) have white streaks on the throat, but when those streaks become splotches and spread around the neck and onto the crown, the bird is leucistic. With only mild color abnormalities such as this, identification of the bird is easy and the leucism may even be overlooked unless a very clear view of the bird is available.
