Guacamole is made of avocados and avocados are fat.
Healthy fat that is.
I used to dislike avocados when I was a kid but then as I grew up I liked it more and now I can literally live on it.
Many people try to lose weight.
I think the right term for that is losing fat rather than weight because the process includes burning fat and calorie and building up muscle so the muscle bulk compensate for the fat loss which can sometime make you weigh more.
But hey, that is OK because you become leaner and healthier which is what matters.
Here is The Two Recipes For Guacamole Ingredients:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 big fat garlic clove, (yum, your wife or husband would love to kiss you after eating so much garlic)
- 1 medium size lemon, never use per-made store lemon juice as it lost all its nutrient value ages ago.
- salt and pepper
- lots of love and will to eat healthy
chop the garlic using a wide blade knife.
Please do your health a favor and do not buy the ready chopped garlic from the shop because again it lost all its nutrient value about an hour after it was jarred.
Besides, it is not tasty anymore.
Chopping a garlic clove is easy - you first slice the clove thin on a chopping board and then slice it again on the flat slices you have just created.
Then you turn the sliced garlic and chop it fine.
Once that done you use the side of the knife, (the wide blade) to mush the chopped garlic by pressing as hard as you can on it a few times until juice comes out of it.
You are ready now to mix it with the mushed avocado.
Cut the lemon in two halves and squeeze the juice minus the seeds out of it into the mix then just add salt and pepper to taste.
There you have the ultimate guacamole for a healthy and tasty snack.
Mike Geary writes about many other healthy fatty foods you can eat and lose fat in his book Truth about Six pack Abs which I bought recently on the net.
