    Engine and Fuel Economy

    • Both models came with a 165-horsepower, 4.3-liter V-6 engine. Available for each was a 5.0-liter V-8 as well as a 5.7-liter V-8 engine. With the standard engine, fuel economy hovered around 15 miles per gallon (mpg) city and 20 mpg highway.

    Transmission and Drive Type

    • Both models came with a five-speed manual transmission, available for upgrade to a four-speed automatic. The C model was the rear-wheel drive variant, while the K model was four-wheel drive. Rear-wheel antilock brakes came standard on both models.

    Payload

    • Both models had a gross vehicle weight rating of 5,600 lbs., with the vehicle itself weighing 3,700 lbs. Maximum payload was 1,700 lbs., while the maximum trailer weight for each model could not exceed 5,000 lbs.
