    2.1 Speaker Configuration

    • 1). Place the right and left speakers approximately 3 feet from the right and left side of your television set, respectively. Raise the speakers up to ear level, when seated.

    • 2). Angle the speakers inward toward a central viewing location directly in front of the television. Angle both speakers so that they focus on the center of the viewing location.

    • 3). Place the subwoofer on the left or right side of the television, unobstructed by any objects. It does not matter which direction the subwoofer points as long as it is not against a wall.

    5.1 Speaker Configuration

    • 1). Place the right and left speakers along with the subwoofer in the same location as with a 2.1 sound configuration.

    • 2). Place the center speaker directly in front of your television, as close to ear level as possible. You can place the speaker below or above the television.

    • 3). Place the right and left surround sound speakers on the rear right and left (respectively) sides of the listener. Angle the speakers inward toward the listener and raise the speakers slightly above ear level.

    7.1 Speaker Configuration

    • 1). Place the right and left speakers along with the subwoofer in the same location as with a 2.1 sound configuration.

    • 2). Place the center speaker directly in front of your television, as close to ear level as possible.

    • 3). Place the right and left surround sound speakers directly on the right and left side of the listener, respectively. Angle the speakers so that they point inward toward the listener and raise the speaker slightly above ear level.

    • 4). Place the right and left rear speakers in the rear right and left corner (respectively) behind the listener. Angle the speakers inward toward the listener and place slightly above ear level.
