- 1). Find a car rental company in Kuwait. There are a number of them, such as Almulla, Alsayer and Payless. Each rental company offers different cars, so inquire whether they have the kind of car you want. A company like Payless have a variety of cars, including the Ford Explorer and Ford Focus. Al Mufta has a wide range of cars, including Mitsubishi, Toyota and Nissan.
- 2). Make sure you have a valid driver's license. You must have had the license for one year and you must be at least 25 years of age to lease a car in Kuwait. Some companies require you to provide bank statements and proof of income.
- 3). Get a contract in advance and go through it. Ensure you have enough money for the rates. The cost varies depending on your contract. For example, if you are leasing the car for two years it will be around 175KD per day (as of 2010). Payment is usually made via credit card.
