It was one of my favorite snacks when preparing for competition.
It is also extremely popular with my bodybuilding clients.
I don't usually tell them what's in it until they are finished eating and they are always surprised that it's tuna.
Ingredients: 1 (8-oz) can solid white tuna 2 (8-oz) pkg.
, non-fat cream cheese 1 tsp.
Tabasco sauce 2 tsp.
horseradish 2 T.
fresh grated onions 1 tsp.
lemon juice 1 T.
Dash garlic and herbs Preparation: Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
Refrigerate for at least two hours or preferably overnight.
if you like it more spicy add more Tabasco sauce.
Serve with fat-free crackers, bread-sticks or fresh vegetables.
Yields 10 Servings, Calories 65, Fat 0, Protein 11, Carbohydrates 3.
This dip goes great with white wine for entertaining and romantic evenings.
Crab Dip Ingredients: 1/2 c.
non-fat sour cream 1 (8 oz.
, fat-free cream cheese 1 tsp.
horseradish 1/2 tsp.
mustard 12 tsp.
Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp.
Tabasco or other hot sauce 1 c.
) fat-free cheddar cheese 1/2 lb.
sea legs (imitation crab) Paprika Combine the first six ingredients, mix well.
Add cheddar cheese and sea legs.
Chill for at least 2 to 4 hours.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Serve with fat-free crackers, bread-sticks or vegetables.
