- 1). Drinking water sometimes is all that's necessary to bring on a bowel movement. Drink 2-3 glasses of water and wait about 30 minutes to see if you feel any changes.
- 2). Eat some fiber, or drink a fiber drink. For high fiber foods I suggest fiber bars, cereals, or any fiber products. You want a high amount of fiber which is less convenient to find in every day foods.
- 3). Getting active works for some people. Just go for a walk, or use your home equipment. You could also just jog in place for 15 minutes.
- 4). Prune juice really does work, but many people can't stand the taste of it. There's lots of other prune options, like dried prunes, candied prunes, and more. Just eat several of those and you will have the same affect of prune juice. Just be sure to drink a couple of glasses while eating them.
